Buying or selling a home is a big deal—probably one of the biggest deals of your life! While my professional life has seen a few pivots along the way, helping others has remained my focus. I am thrilled to be working in the real estate space, an industry that allows me to serve family, friends, and others with compassion and delight.
I graduated from Calvin University with a degree in art + business and went on to earn a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Michigan—Go Blue! I lived/studied my final semester just outside of Italy—soaking up all the charm, art, and architecture of Florence—Tutto bene! I spent nearly nine years working as an architectural designer and transitioned into owning and operating my own architectural photography studio. I spent a few years working in the music department at Calvin University, orchestrating and leading domestic tours for student music ensembles. I also have experience with website design.
With the exception of a few years living in Ann Arbor—and my brief time in Italy—Grand Rapids has been my home. I love living here, spending time with my wife and three kids, watching the region grow and flourish, and participating in cultural and community activities. I participated as an artist in ArtPrize for several years, served as a KidsHope USA tutor/mentor, sang with the Choral Scholars vocal ensemble, and served on the school board at Ada Christian School.
